Port Lincoln March 2015
Morg has spent an hour preparing Mum and Dad a wonderful lunch of apple and orange on bread surrounded by tomato sauce and cucumbers. Hmmmmmmmm delish and we said yes!
We arrived in Port Lincoln in the early hours of the morning and anchored outside the marina till daybreak. We enjoyed a lovely few days of hot weather and great food at the hotel by the marina. The photo above is Port Lincoln, very similar to Gulf Harbour for those that know where we live.Caught up on the usual boat chores including repair to the dodger framework that wasn’t quite strong enough to hold Warren in the rough weather. Also drove out to Coffin Bay for a visit, a picturesque enclosed bay where we had a yummy lunch of local oysters. Fattening ourselves up for the next leg……………..
So after a few days of drying out we set off for the long leg to Perth across the great Australian Byte, which would hopefully be kind to us. At least now we were out of the Lat 40’s and would have warmer weather!! Happiness will be turning the corner around Cape Leeuwin and heading North to warmer climes.
